Friends of the Elderly proud to be part of Centenary project
Friends of the Elderly, has been selected to appear in a new publication entitled Monarchy and Democracy: A History of Leadership. An official History of Parliament project.

Residents at The Lawn Care Home celebrate this year’s National Walking Month
To celebrate this year’s National Walking Month, residents at The Lawn, our Alton-based residential care home, have had a ‘Toe-tally’ great time walking and strolling around the care home’s beautiful grounds to reach their 1,000 steps goal.

Bernard Sunley committed to keeping residents part of, and out and about in, the local community
Bernard Sunley, our Woking-based residential, nursing and dementia care home, is pleased and proud to announce that it has become the first sponsor of Woking’s new Buddy Bus, a community transport bus which is available for use by voluntary sector organisations in the local area, to help bring the community together.
Badminton club members ‘served’ up 12 months of fundraising activities for Wallington Day Care
Wallington Day Care Service, which supports people who are living with dementia and a range of age related conditions, has thrown a Thank You Party for London’s oldest Badminton Club, St. Margaret’s Badminton Club in Tooting, South London for all its fundraising endeavours for the Service over the last year.

At 101 years old, Joyce is still the life and soul of the party
At Redcot, our Haslemere residential care home, resident Joyce Douglas, who made the care home her home in February 2022, has been enjoying her milestone 101st birthday surrounded by her family, care home friends, balloons, cards, gifts and the care home team.
