Orford House resident celebrates her New Year’s Eve birthday in style
In addition to the traditional New Year’s Eve celebrations, the care team at Orford House, our Coulsdon-based residential care home, put on a special Pamper Spa Day and delicious afternoon tea party to celebrate resident, Iris Flint’s, 88th Birthday.

Latasha Jarrett joins Redcot Residential Care Home 
in Haslemere
Latasha Jarrett has joined Redcot Care Home as the new Registered Manager. Latasha, who joined in October last year, has worked in the Care Sector for 21 years and is looking forward to continuing and building on Redcot’s care team’s unwavering track record delivering outstanding care to all the residents and respite guests they support.
First year of festive fun at Friends Place
Everyone at Friends of the Elderly embraces the festive period, making sure it is a very merry time for all the residents and day care clients – and, at Friends Place, the care team pulled out all the Christmas stops to make sure its first Christmastime was a Winter-tastic spectacular and special time for the residents in every way.

New dementia strategy launched focused on dignity, independence and partnership
We have launched a new dementia strategy, The Wider View, setting out its approach to supporting people living with dementia across its care homes and day care services. Covering the period 2026–2029, the strategy is rooted in a simple principle: once you have met one person with dementia, you have only met one person with dementia.
