Residents, Day Care Clients and the care teams, thoroughly enjoy Christmastime and all the festivities and joyfulness it brings.
“As the residents and day care clients embrace the run up to Christmas and love nothing more than getting involved with the fun, interactive and engaging activities and events the care teams arrange for them, this year, the charity has decided to run its #ShareYourXmasMemory campaign,” said Jessica Dean, Friends of the Elderly’s Head of Marketing and Communications.
“From Monday 8th December until Monday 22nd December, our #ShareYourXmasMemory campaign will add to the festive fun of the season. We are inviting everyone to share their Yuletide memories by sending us photos or telling us about a special Christmas memory.
Whether it’s a ‘Holly Jolly’ Christmas and treasured tradition, a Mince Pie baking story, a Christmas Carol tale, an old photo, a favourite, special pantomime, a festive film or a beloved Christmas moment your memories will bring smiles and laughter, joy and merriment and spark lovely reminiscing conversations between our residents and day care clients,” added Jessica.
“We’d love for you to #ShareYourXmasMemory and help us to bring lots of sparking Yuletide cheer to our residents, day care clients and everyone at the charity. ”Please send your pictures or written memories to [email protected] or, alternatively, post on Facebook tagging @FriendsElderly using the hashtag #ShareYourXmasMemory. “We will then share all the memories with our residents and day care clients this Christmas, bringing a sprinkling of added Christmastide fun to their ‘Ho, Ho, Ho’ Happy Holidays,” concluded Jessica.
