Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal announced as Patron
Friends of the Elderly is honoured that Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal has been announced as its Patron.

“In memory of my grandmother, I am raising money for Friends of the Elderly” says Glen, who is running the Madrid Marathon this April.
So far, Glen has raised an amazing £637 for Friends of the Elderly and is already over halfway to his target. If you would like to donate, please see his fundraising page here.

At Orford House, our Coulsdon-based residential care home, residents have been commemorating this year’s Walk Your Dog Month with their regular furry, four-legged friend, Bailey.

Betty celebrates landmark 92nd Birthday at Redcot
At Redcot, our Haslemere based residential care home, resident Betty Mancey has been ‘bowled’ over by her 92nd Birthday celebrations surrounded by balloons, cards, gifts and her family and care home friends.

Luton residents celebrate National Pizza Day
At Little Bramingham Farm, our Luton-based residential care, residents have enjoyed a wonderful Italian-themed afternoon as they became Pizzaiolos and Pizzaiolas – Pizza Chefs – to celebrate this year’s National Pizza Day.

Lights of Love remembrance service held in Coulsdon
At Orford House care home in Coulsdon, the Care Team has hosted a moving Lights of Love celebration of life and remembrance service for families of residents who are no longer with them.
