‘Be a bit rebellious’, says Centenarian Bill on landmark birthday
At Davenham care home in Malvern, the care team left nothing to chance in celebrating Bill Poulton’s landmark 100th Birthday with balloons, gifts, cards – including a very special congratulatory card from The King – and a delicious birthday afternoon tea.

We are so grateful to the Candlestick Press for their ongoing donations to Friends of the Elderly. Through the sales of the beautiful poetry pamphlets, Ten Poems about Friendship and Ten Poems about Grandparents, they help us to support older people living in poverty.

Lots of woofs at The Lawn’s first dog show
At our residential care home, The Lawn, residents had a ‘paw-fect’ day enjoying the home’s first ever Dog Show.
Ten dogs of varying breeds took part in 10 award categories, cheered on by residents, their families, friends and the care team.

Afternoon tea and feline friends in Malvern
To celebrate and support this year’s Afternoon Tea Week and International Cat Day, the care teams at our Malvern-based care homes, Davenham and Bradbury Court, hosted a special fundraising afternoon tea in aid of Cats Protection, the UK’s largest feline welfare charity.
