September was a busy month for residents across our care homes, including double celebrations, an epic 50,000 mile adventure and more! Here are some of the highlights from September:
Redcot resident shares his epic 50,000 mile Land Rover adventure
At Redcot care home in Haslemere, resident Keith Donnison has been reminiscing and regaling the care team with tales of his epic adventures. In the 1960s he and a group of friends travelled 50,000 miles from the United Kingdom to Nepal in a 68-inch wheelbase Land Rover.

‘Talking Dementia’ for World Alzheimer’s Day 2021
In support of 21st September’s World Alzheimer’s Day, we were ‘Talking Dementia’ and sharing the actions we have taken throughout our charity to support people living with dementia.
These include a significant partnership with the University of Worcester’s highly regarded Association for Dementia Studies and Professor Dawn Brooker MBE, who created our Dementia Education Programme.

A double celebration at RNNH care home
RNNH care home recently enjoyed twice the amount of celebratory cheer, as Care Home Manager Alan Johnston and resident Jo shared their joint birthdays.
