December is always a magical time at our care homes! Despite the current challenges faced with the ongoing pandemic, nothing could get in the way of our residents and staff enjoying Christmas festivities. Here’s a look at what they got up to in December:
Perrins House team members inspire residents with poems and displays
At Perrins House care home in Malvern, two of the Domestic Team have been keeping the residents engaged – and intrigued – with specially created and imaginative monthly display tables and poems.

Norma, a resident at RNNH care home, wanted to give a little Christmas cheer to her fellow residents and staff. This is her festive outfit that she wore on Christmas Day – looking great Norma.

Redcot residents delighted by donated tree
Residents at Redcot Care Home in Surrey had a lovely time decorating two beautiful Christmas Trees. Everyone at Redcot says a big thank you for the festive trees that were kindly donated by Haslemere Garden Centre and Haslemere’s DIY and General Goods Shop, R Miles and Son.

Christmas Jumper Day a hit in Hampshire!
When staff at The Lawn care home dressed up for Christmas Jumper Day, it didn’t take long for residents to join in the festive fun. Thankfully staff had arranged plenty of props for residents to take part leading to a fun day for all!

Friends of the Elderly tree shines in Worchester Cathedral
The team at Davenham care home in Malvern decorated this tree to put up at Worcester Cathedral. Well done Karen and Charlotte, who worked hard to decorate the trees and make them look stunning amongst the beautiful stain glass windows.
