Lee Houghton

Lee joined Friends of the Elderly as a trustee in May 2024.

She qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 1998, working clinically in the NHS, before pursuing a management career.
She has completed post-graduate studies in healthcare management and has senior management experience within the NHS, Social Services, private healthcare and independent sectors across children and adult services in hospitals, care homes, community services and supported living settings specialising in mental health, learning disabilities and autism.

Lee currently works as the Managing Director for an independent social care provider of learning disability and mental health services and has a special interest in safeguarding and governance.

Lee sits on Friends of the Elderly’s Service Delivery Committee.
